The Sunrise Jazz & Rhythm Festival 2006 is back.

The festival that you've all be waiting for and asking about is back. All set to kick-off on the 28th of July. The festival will end on August, 12th, during which there will be perfomances lined up every Friday and Saturday.

Sunrise Jazz & Rhythm Festival 2006 : July 28th till August 12th [Every Friday and Saturday]


This annual signature event organized by Sunrise Berhad will feature well-loved jazz veterans alongside bright and upcoming talents in the jazz and music industry. Jazz and rhythm lovers can look forward to a fusion of premier contemporary and classic jazz performances. Admission is FREE.

Do come early to enjoy alfresco dining at the fountain courtyard while reserving a good seat for yourself.

The performers include GruvAvenue, Rachel Guerzo, Noryn Aziz, Cosmic Funk Express, Mr. Gambus, Sharizan Borhan, the newly formed Funk Mob, and many others.

The program for the festival as follow and are subject to change without prior notice.

29th July 2006 [Saturday]

8.30 p.m. till 9.00 p.m. - Hip Hop by DanceStyle

9.00 p.m. till 10.45 p.m. - GruvAvenue

11.00 p.m. till 12.30 a.m. - Amir Yussof & Friends

4th August 2006 [Friday]

8.30 p.m. till 9.00 p.m. - Belly Dancing

9.00 p.m. till 10.45 p.m. - Cosmic Funk Express

11.00 p.m. till 12.30 a.m. - Jupiter@7

5th August 2006 [Saturday]

8.30 p.m. till 9.00 p.m. - Sharizan Borhan & Swing Inc
